An Adoption Moment
Water Chef
My son loves to serve me water. He goes to a lot of effort to prepare my water jug just the way he wants, fresh, with a lot of ice. Next, he gets tin foil and tapes around the jug, so it will stay cold longer. An aspiring chef, he brings me his handy work with enthusasiam saying, "Taste it momma, taste it!" His bright eyes watching as I drink his jug of perfection. My only response can be, "Such a wonderful water chef you are!" His face lights up with a job well done.
Joshua was adopted from an orphanage when he was 18 months old. Without adoption I would have missed my water chef. A moment I do not want to forget. Vickie Bryan |
