Jame and Vickie Bryan moved to the Memphis area in the late 1990’s. After twelve years of marriage and no children, they finally made the decision to become parents through adoption. Vickie states, "The desire to be a mother would not die. It required me to step out in faith to find the children God planned for us." Two sons adopted from Ukraine in 2000 fulfilled their dreams of becoming parents. Without a daughter, they turned to the foster care system in the United States to adopt once again.

In December 2005 the Bryans adopted a sibling group of two girls and a teen boy.  In January 2005 Vickie began writing The Heart of Adoption in the midst of their second adoption.

The name of the book and ministry came forth out of much prayer and a deep desire seated in the heart of God for adoption.

The Bryans are ordained ministers. Presently their focus in ministry is to promote and preach God’s word concerning adoption.

"Through adoption we see that God given passion is not just for the orphans of the world, but for spiritual orphans as well.

Adoption of fatherless children brings a beautiful reflection of spiritual adoption.

Our heavenly Father's love is so intense for the lost, that through my own unquenchable desire for a child I get a glimpise of his longing for those who have not yet been adopted into the family of God.  Such intensitiy of love also goes to members of the Body of Christ who are unable to embrace the Heavenly Father's love.
The intensity of God's love cannot be fanthomed, but is demonstrated to us by adoption.

Ephesians 1:4-5- For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.  In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will . . .

Adoption must be embraced as never before by the Church. In adoption we find total acceptance and perfect love given to us and demonstrated  for all who receive salvation through Jesus Christ."  Vickie Bryan
